Rebooking passengers whose flight has been rescheduled or cancelled due to airline requirements is traditionally a fragmented, unstructured and costly process.
In order to provide better customer service (by minimizing passenger inconvenience), facilitate improvements in process and reduce costs, IGT provides the complete process of rebooking affected passengers. Passengers are re-booked on the first possible onward connection in line with the airline policy for re-scheduling taking into account factors as passenger’s frequent flier status, class of travel, time of the next available flight and SPA agreements. For some clients IGT also manages the process of communicating these changes via voice, email and Short Messaging Service (SMS).
